I grew up in Northwest Iowa and moved to Pella when my husband and I accepted our first teaching jobs. I have loved living and teaching in Pella for the past nine years. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, with a degree in elementary and early childhood education and a special education endorsement. I recently received my Master’s Degree in effective teaching with a reading endorsement from Drake University .
My husband, David, is the principal at Pella Christian Grade School. We have two boys. Roan will be five this October, and Ryker had his second birthday this past June. The boys enjoy making each other laugh.
I am looking forward to the upcoming kindergarten year. I love to greet, and be greeted by little ones each morning.
